Michael is the only restaurant reviewing lawyer in Atlanta. He loves trying new foods and considers himself a wise judge of flavors, preparation and presentation.
His mother, who was organic gardening before it was cool, introduced him to fresh, locally-sourced produce and home cooked meals at an early age. As a child, Michael enjoyed cooking, especially traditional southern dishes, at the side of his mother and grandmother. One of his favorite tools in the kitchen is an iron skillet passed down from his great-grandmother. He's always associated love with good food and good women so it's no wonder he married a chef.
In college Michael and a roommate led “Macon Restaurants 101”, an unofficial tour of food purveyors in his college town. Through travels to Europe and Russia, and along Buford Highway, Michael has learned to appreciate a variety of ethnic foods.
When Michael isn’t thinking about food, he practices law at Arnall Golden Gregory LLP in Atlanta, where he is a member of the private wealth group. AGG’s private wealth group assists wealthy families with business succession planning, charitable planning, sophisticated wealth transfer planning, and estate administration. Michael is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida.
Michael looks forward to sharing his restaurant experiences with the Wisdom Kitchen audience and is happy to live in Atlanta, Georgia where so many great chefs have restaurants that offer great dining options.
